PC V/S Handmade Painting - the artist thoughts
i noticed that people (who don't know much about digital arts menas computer paintings) be apt to not appreciate "handmade" painting (picture) more than digital painted ones. even when i aksed them, they admitted this.
i always told them, that digital painting doesn't mean pushing a button and the finished picture appears on the screen, and that it's just another tool to express your ideas.
but meanwhile i think … perhaps it's truly easier and faster to get to the same result in painter or photoshop and other graphic softwares, as if you were doing it the traditional (usual way. on the paper you have to get used to the characteristics of the colors you're using, you can't overpaint a 1000 times, you can't try out things and then UNDO (Ctrl+Z), you can't alter the colors if you notice that it's not like what you've imagined, ...and so on.
perhaps those people are right to not appreciate it so much... i always didn't want to believe it cause i like panting on the computer, but is really just the easier way of doing things...?
what do you think?
